Holy Childhood Society

The Holy Childhood Society (Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood) is a mission-driven organization within the Church that seeks to nurture a spirit of faith, charity, and missionary commitment in children. Rooted in the belief that young hearts can become powerful instruments of evangelization, the society encourages children to deepen their love for Jesus and actively participate in spreading His message to others.
Mission and Purpose

The Holy Childhood Society operates under the guidance of the Pontifical Mission Societies and is dedicated to:
- Fostering a missionary spirit among children.
- Encouraging prayer and sacrifice for the needs of children in mission territories.
- Promoting solidarity and support for less fortunate children worldwide.
- Teaching young Catholics the importance of sharing their faith and helping others.
This society helps children grow in faith and charity, forming them to be compassionate disciples of Christ from an early age.

Holy Childhood Society in Our Parish

In our parish, the Holy Childhood Society provides children with the opportunity to participate in prayer meetings, missionary activities, and acts of service. Through these initiatives, they learn the importance of helping those in need, offering prayers for the missions, and living out their faith in daily life.
Activities and Formation
Children in the Holy Childhood Society engage in:
- Regular prayer gatherings focused on the missions.
- Fundraising efforts to support missionary projects for children in need.
- Catechesis and faith formation to strengthen their understanding of the Gospel.
- Acts of charity and service within the parish and local community.
The society follows the motto: “Children Helping Children”, emphasizing that every child, regardless of age, can contribute to the mission of the Church by praying, sharing, and acting with love and generosity.
